Lynda’s mission is simple yet powerful: to give people the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to live life on their terms - with safety, independence, and peace of mind.

Lynda is the founder and CEO of At Home for Life, a business she created to help people safely and successfully age in place.  She has dedicated her career to helping individuals live safely, comfortably, and independently at every stage of life. With a unique blend of clinical expertise and compassionate insight, Lynda transforms overwhelming challenges into manageable solutions. She empowers clients to make informed decisions and create supportive living environments that foster dignity and independence.

Through At Home for Life, Lynda conducts in-home assessments for older adults and individuals with disabilities, providing personalized recommendations for home modifications that improve safety, accessibility, and quality of life.

Lynda gained national recognition as “The Organized Caregiver” through her long-running blog on EverydayHealth.com and as the author of Age in Place: A Guide to Modifying, Organizing and Decluttering Mom and Dad’s Home, which was lauded by the New York Times health columnist Jane E. Brody.

Lynda is a widely respected voice in the caregiving and aging-in-place community. Her insights have been featured across numerous media outlets in the U.S. and Canada.

In addition to leading workshops on caregiving, home safety, organizing, and wellness, Lynda recently partnered with Becoming rentABLE to promote accessible short-term rentals and advocate for universal design.
